We have three production plants, asigned for the wine-making process, aging and bottling of controlled denomination of origin (D.O)


We have acquired the latest technology for the expert hand of our wine-producers


 

 


Our winery was originally founded by José Maria Vaquer Bes, father of the current owner, in a warehouse in Batea, producing wine and selling retail. They started bottling wine in 1970, when the winery moved to the new and installations.
Nowadays there are two wineries working to obtain the best grape juices which in time will be our well-known wines: young or aging wines, vintage wines, that are sold in our country as well as all over the international market. (Germany, Switzerland, USA, France, China…)
We have acquired the latest technology for the expert hand of our wine-producers, under the supervision of our well-qualified team of enologists and vintners.

The installations are provided with "despalilladoras", "desvinadores", pneumatic presses, steel containers and a huge "barrel storage" for the oak barrels used in the aging of wines.

Celler Mariol has its own vineyards. There is the main state, "Mas Montasell", which is 40 hectares in size, where we produce our well-recognized wines, with the denomination of origin (D.O.) Terra Alta and the select varieties of grapes (Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot, Chardonnay… ).
